Chrissy came home from the hospital about an hour ago. The doctors said that since Thursday the babies have been stable and haven't declined. The doctors decided against removing fluid due the risk of rupturing the babies membrane. While in the hospital the doctors were able to stop the contractions and buy some more time before delivery. Chrissy is 25 weeks today and our hope is that she can make it to 26 or longer. We were told that the percentage of survival for babies with TTTS, has shown to increase from just under 60% to over 70% if held until 26 weeks.Chrissy and I would like to thank you all for your prayers, support and constant reminders of hope for our twins.
We can't wait to meet our little guys and for them to meet each of you.John
