Today we went to our weekly appointment at OSU medical center and here is the latest on our twin boys:Luke James Augustine / Twin A: 1 lb 13 oz. and growing...

Baby Luke (Baby A) has grown rapidly over the past 3 weeks since surgery. He has made a remarkable improvement yet still has a long road to take. Baby A currently has 3 leaky valves in the heart and is carrying fluid around the heart and in his skin. Although a high risk, Luke is in good hands.Matthew David Augustine / Twin B: 1 lb 3 oz.Baby Matthew (Baby B) is known as the healthier twin and has made the most progress of the two. Baby B however is showing very little growth and has been at a standing point over the last week. Baby B has a healthy heart and is a strong little boy who loves to kick his brother.Both babies have made great progress and are fighting each day to be introduced.
As of right now we are waiting for the babies to take over and start adjusting to the change from surgery.
